Gracias gracias! Am really enjoying the CD - it's great as I am now catching up on piles of marking but can keep listening and enjoying. Gracias gracias1
Hi graemli, Can't post you any pix (lost them all when the computer went down), but if you click on Ravelry you can marvel at our witches hats, dusted off every Halloween, but only at Halloween. My excuse is that I'm too busy helping organise our Halloween bonfire party for the neighbourhood kids to spare much thought to costume-making. This year I provided a cauldron of slime soup, Stockbrot (that's bread on a stick for those of you who never made it to the scouts) and vampire muffins. We were visited by a surplus of skeletons and hags, but neither monsters nor mummies - and no photographers either, more's the pity...
Hi debbym - Sounds wunderbar! Followed the link but can't see any witches hats unfortunately - we've been dressing up as always but now the "kids" are 18 + 23 you have to be more creative with the reasons...it's so much fun though...
Actually, gremlin, I did get dressed up; it was my step-brother's 40th birthday & party. Excellent party ... Halloween-themed marquee, razor-sharp DJ, free bar, big buffet, compulsory fancy-dress.
The evening did have a couple of buckets of cold water thrown on it: - only Darcey & I went, as DsMam had to stay home and look after poorly DsSis; - that pathetic performance at Fulham (party full of LFC fans); - I got done by Cheshire Police (£30 on-the-spot fine) on the way to the party (illegible number-plate).
GAH!
Still, a fine time was had by all. Pics will have to wait though: - my phone camera definitely wasn't up to the job; - DarceysNan tends to take ages before she uploads and shares her pics; - Ian did leave a single-use camera on each table, but again, who knows how long it will be before those shots get distributed.
Me? Last year's Evil Wizard costume topped off by a new fluorescent Skeletor-style full-hood mask. Darcey? Spiderling (that's a mini-witch with extra arachnid facepaint & paraphernalia).
DarceysGrandad's sciatica meant we left just before 11pm, but we had to drag Darcey off the dancefloor!! Bless.
Sounds wicked! (was your use of "fine time" intended as a pun??) Skeletor is cool- the shop that sold me my outfit tried to sell me all manner of brilliant masks including Tim Curry from Legend with the massive horn/s...only £50...hohoho was i born yesterday? Never met a spiderling but look forward to a chance meeting - shame about NanaDsD's sciatica - hope it improves... So is Rafa's time up? Hope you have a great week - look forward to the photies eventually...
@Mr. Maki- am currently listening to and very much liking : 1. Me gusta ser una Zorra - ace! 2. A bailar - makes you want to shake yer groove thaang that's for sure - reminds me a bit of the Ramones... 3.Escuela de calor- quite a different sound from the previous 2 but equally funky! muchas gracias G
gremlinfc, are you by any chance in some way related to (or go to the same parties as) Amy the librarian (Dracula's bride)? I'm sure I've seen that photo on facebook!
@Mr. Maki - wicked - "Two Thieves & A Liar" is very relevant today and both that and "Man Next Door" have a sort of simmering threat about them - brilliant stuff. Today have christened my machine with : - Pedro Navaja - Si tu no vuelves The second being a song which took me back to my early 20s (ah , how those days are such a long time ago!) and sort of falling in love with many people...long before the idea of life getting serious...
Sad to see how many songs that were relevant in their day are still relevant. We don't learn, do we. Marea Negra is from 1982 and if you check the lyrics, it could have been written yesterday! Will keep listening and hope for a traffic jam tomorrow!!
Aye Mr. Maki I accepted naturally and am in the process of listening to it and enjoying it thoroughly: STOP PRESS - HOLD THE FRONT PAGE!!! It's disappeared...

Young Munday dressed up as a "Dracula" last night. Can't quite get the fake blood off this morning, hope it's off by the time he goes back to school!!
But what fun!
Muy guapo, Gremlin! Hallowe'en is catching on over here. Maybe when Mario is a little bigger we'll dress up! Glad you're enjoying the CD.
Scary stuff! Now, where's that pic with you in costume? :D
Gracias gracias!

Sorry, graemli, didn't realise you needed to be a logged-in member to get at that page. Here's Littl'Un (last year), my hat's bigger and green.
A belated Happy Birthday then, Tatanka.
[I typoed 'Bierthday' then, and now I wish I'd left it in ... but it didn't feel right going back and uncorrecting my correction.]
@debbym - that's wicked! I remember that very pic from last year and it made me smile , sorry , get spooked, then too. Big green hat hey?
Eco-witch?
@DsD - didn't you get dressed up then? Come on spill those pics... Bierthday sounds a great idea...
gremlin - got your cd ready for the car (lots of driving between classes tomorrow). Looking forward to it, thanks.

GFC - Faves so far: Two Thieves and a Liar and Man Next Door. A lot less car time than expected. Will keep you posted. Ta.

Thank you Gremlinfc, small world and all that :-)

It's disappeared...
It should be back now. Particularly enjoying Purple Haze and Cocaine right now!
@Mr. Maki - so that's why you are so happy!
Indeed, indeed!
