Singing us to sleep
Just before the millennium, Playboy Magazine wrote round to some musical luminaries inviting them to select their 'songs of the last millennium'. One of these was Richard Thompson, who set to work and researched a list starting with 'Sumer is Ycomen In' and ending with 'Oops, I Did It Again': well, his list wasn't picked but it gave him the idea for a different kind of concert. Maybe he was tired of playing his own songs?
Anyway, this is 'O Sleep, Fond Fancy' by Thomas Morley - I may have said 'Morland' on RR - sung by RT, Judith Owen and Debra Dobkin.
