Sayonara, Guru Lynskey

I'd almost forgotten how much I loved Thin Lizzy, but, whether or not it's relevant to this week's topic, it's in my deezerlist and has just helped shake out the scarycobwebs. Not quite sure what Kenny G had to do with Wong Kar Wai's film soundtrack, however...

Listened to this yesterday and enjoyed the Bowie very much. While a penniless student in a Viennese garret (think Dickens meets Haneke) I ate cheap pasta for a week so I could afford the 'Shame' album (on cassette of course) and listened to that all day yesterday too. Thanks for reminding me. I would take issue with the Boy George though. He shouldn't have been allowed to record that. I think he just liked the idea of a fetching orange sari...

Sorry you don't care for BDM, FP - I played it incessantly at the time and recall a v good Jesus Loves You remix with only the vocal from the bhagavad-gita (together with a gospel choir), if removal of George's cheesy lyrics would help?

Might help if they got rid of Harry.
