OK, Fadonistas, here's the short taste that we spoke of last week.
In order the pieces are,
Post Scriptum by Cristina Branco:
Meu Fado Meu by Mariza, pictured above:
Transparente by Mariza:
Quando mi sinto so by Mariza:
Faradinho Simples by Antonio Chainho.
I don't quite know how I chose three by one artist, must not have been paying attention, they're all good anyhow.

I really enjoyed listening to those.

So did I, but interestingly, Mariza was my least favourite. Is the last singer called Antonio? I ask because it sounds like a woman singing.
Ejay: I had similar problems with 'Antonio', I pulled it from my iTunes and uploaded it with only the iTunes info. When I later checked the CD I see that Antoio Chainho, was at one time Amalia's accompanist and here he's accompanying Marta Dias. Thanks for both comments.
Just to say that I also enjoyed them. Late night listening for me. Love Fado. Does the word have a meaning.

Apparently it comes from the word fate.
