While searching if there was a video for my RR recommendation of Trans Am's "Tri-angular Pyramid" I found this cool video:
Often quite wrongly labeled "post-rock", Trans Am are a heavily CAN/Neu! oriented trio who love to rock out heavily as well, if you've got the chance to see them live, check them out!

I have the trans am album that's 80s sounding, i was disappointed (after hearing a couple of their early tracks) - maybe i should give it another listen
I have on Trans Am track. 'City in Flames' off an album called Futureworld. It's very heavy, surging stuff (not very 80s at all) but I think I'd tire of a whole album.
