It's a fine piece of video-mashing, but the song just isn't saying "Christmas" to me...

With my current mood, and ever-hardening attitude to the established norms of obscene over-consumption each December ... actually this very much IS saying Christmas in my book!

Brilliantly, the BBC repeated their mistake of 18 years ago when Nicky Campbell had the bright idea of asking RatM to play Killing in the Name on 5Live this morning. Yes, they did sing the naughty words. The producer at the end apologises, saying "we told them not to". But since the line in question is "fuck you I won't do what you tell me", really, what did they expect? It's on YouTube already:

Everyone's a bloody killjoy! Well thanks very much for the link, sourpus. I'm glad I saw this and heard FiveLive's cock-up too, barbryn.

You've both cheered me up a bit today.

Sourpus, Alternative title for this post could be "Spilling In The Name Of..." ?

Hope Christmas gets better for you DsD !

Manged to get it back - temporarily. Their revenge will be swift. Best to you DD.

DaddyPig, good call. How about 'It takes an audience figure of 16 million to hold us back'?
