Dustin must have had a stunt double for this crouch scene.

watched this recently in a Swedish hotel room.....great, understated performance by the great man, and there may have one or two tears at the end....

VatervonDarcey - astute and as always quick with the answer...1 point.
still up for grabs is co-star?
@Japanther - extra points to you for admitting to crying at a fillum- what about Bambi? Now that's real weepy stuff...

Merryl Streep.

I remember going to see "Ring of Bright Water" with my brother and sister and the three of us leaving the pictures in floods of tears!
Haven't had a good cry for ages. Curiously "Love Story" gets me every time, but please, please DON'T TELL ANYONE!

Cheers, gremlin. Unusual of me to spot a "weepie", although -

OK< here it comes. The admission of how to reduce DsD to tears merely by placing him in front of a telly. Let's try it again, for the umptieth time, shall we?

The Sixth Sense - in the car when HJO finally admits his apparitions to his mum. As soon as we get to the bit with "And Grandma says hi", the lip starts wobbling; by the time he tells mum that granny watched her dance, I'm on my third tissue, EVERY DAMNED TIME . . . I ADMIT IT, OK!?!?!

Actually the lad was sort of falling down which is why i'm supporting him in that fatherly way...
