I'm back and I've been loving these 3 songs:
Marina's no robot, neither are you.
Um Indio A song that mentions Mohammed Ali and Bruce Lee, two of the coolest people ever, can't be wrong, from Caetano Veloso's jazz-funk Bicho album.
I Want To Be Your Man Before Auto-Tune, there was the vocoder. Roger Troutman was the master.

Isaac just said I'm not a Robot is a cool song, and he's not even looking at the video.
I like Um Indio. And I want to Be Your Man is very smooooooth.
Wow, actually, I'm sensing a robot connection between the first and last, here.
Vocoder wise I nearly nommed Herbie Hancock's Rockit for the m8 theme. Sweet sounds.
Um Indio very nice too, great keys. Have you heard Chick Corea's album "Return forever" with Flora Purim?
Ha I hadn't noticed the robot connection, what do I do with Um Indio now?!
I still haven't heard Return To Forever, though I've been close to buying it on regular occasions over the years, but spotify is here I'm listening to the album from 1972, is that the one she's on. If you like Jaco Pastorius, you'll probably like Bicho.
That's it, 1972, with picture of a seabird over a green ocean on the cover. Nice early bossa nova fusion. This isn't yet the Return to Forever band, which got started around 1974 and included an electric guitar.
Will try Bicho, sounds interesting.
Could somebody post Mama you been on my mind by Dylan, as well as don't think twice, and I Want to be Free by Ohio Players for me please.
Cheers
Post how? I can put them in the dropbox...is that what you mean?
I meant on the blog, but i think Mama doesn't count, as it's much later after the break up
