No idea who's covering it but i'm a fan of the original and it's a pretty good cover.....actually, I should confess to having a larger than is socially acceptable soft rock 7" collection, and I don't mean the good stuff, i'm talking Cutting Crew, Whitesnake, Foreigner. I'm a sucker for a big overblown soft rock ballad.....

BTW, anyone else having trouble getting on the Boxstr website?? My Safari is not opening it

I think it's cheating to switch vocalists for the high parts...

Quite weird, no idea who it is though, but the voices seem strangely familiar.

Sounds a bit like The Decemberists?

um, i didn't really mean for this post to be a guessing game, more a means to foist toto upon ye unsuspectingly - in what must be an especially long-running (and tired) gag by now....

The Toto gag has plenty of life left yet. The band, on the other hand.....

did you know the drummer from toto died in a bizarre lawnmower incident. TRUE FACT!

blimpy - I have to know more, and I have two questions for you:

1. Was it an incident involving a bizarre lawnmower or a bizarre incident involving a lawnmower? There is a difference...

2. Who the fuck are the mystery band??????

Was it a music lover/landscaper?

1. On August 5, 1992, Jeff Porcaro suffered an allergic reaction due to a pesticide he was using in his garden whilst mowing his lawn. He died a horrible horrible death. On his lawn.

2. Hmmmmmm?
