Shame you were late, I would've donded some of that.

Akasha is built around a sample of Weather Report's Waterfall, the looped Rhodes line and cello. Very nice track. Reminds me a little bit of Ursula Rucker's Circe, with Jazzanova.
Like Clint Boon's vocals.
The Jimi Tenor has that strange but comforting Scandinavian electro jazz feel, the Steinski has a definite Coldcut flavour. Old Skool indeed.
Nr. 5 seems a bit plain in comparison to the other tracks, that's just to my pop-deaf ears though.
Good playlist.

Like the songs--particularly the Clint Boon Experience, and I like the 'Spill logo too.

cheers all...it's my sons 3rd birthday today so been quite a busy weekend...
ejaydee, first and last fit the theme properly, could have tried to crowbar the other 3 in but...I've got another 79 tracks to listen to at work before Friday so no need I'm guessing.
nilpferd..the sugar hill suite is off 'the lessons 2' with coldcut/ dj shadow/ cut chemist and them mucking about to great effect.
steenbeck..I will try and finish some artwork properly..got some books out, to tell me how to do it on the computer...(can't be that hard!!!!)
