None needed. I grew up loving Michael Jackson and that song is still one of my favourites. All the unhappiness that marked the latter years should not block out the jaw-dropping brilliance of 'Off the wall' or 'Thriller'. That's a fine list and will be 'favourited' anon.

Same question I asked frogprincess.
I'd love to hear your cuts, but...

.. and I still can't listen to Barber's Adagio. Too sad. Liking very much Sinead doing Sac-a-ri-fice.

FP - you'll also see Sinead (and Bryan) on another deezer list I compiled in a fit of displacement activity last weekend, inspired by the cover versions posting. I almost added the Donnie Darko version of Mad World to this week's list - one of many 'better than the originals', I think.

enjoyed (if that's the right word)
Sinead, Kate, Adagio and the Smiths love the Cocteau Twins but not in the slightest weepy with this one..all personal, going to be interesting going through everyones.

It's a strange subject this week, Sane, as the highly subjective nature of the selections means that only those eliciting an emotional connection with Our Guru are likely to be favoured.

Kate's Coral Room is, I think, the most achingly tragic song she has ever sung. The metaphor, the melody, the magnificent vocal performance. We are not worthy, Katherine...and yet, not so much as a dondle. So that's quite a difficult one to fathom.
