They're only buildings and houses, why should I care?

A monument atop the hills near scarymansion.

Mainly firsts, but an arcadian dond that exists to adrenalize...

Great pic, what does the monument stand for?

Hi Blimpy

A memorial to peace, it was originally built to commemorate the fall of Napoleon in 1814, but was demolished by lightning and re-built at the end of the Crimean war - although it was another 30 odd years before they had the idea to install a lightning conductor, which has served it well.

Sadly, lightning didn't strike any of the mindless graffiti merchants who have defaced the monument in recent years. Gems such as 'Manchester City' being visible from over 50 yards away.

Top playlist SCARY. I've clicked on "add to my favourites' and it's now in my deezer profile too. Will be able to enjoy it whenever I log in now. Many thanks. Love the Rufus and Martha tracks. And the Felt - playing now.

Thanks FP - think I'll be doing likewise with your intriguing architectural discoveries.
btw, did you spot the song from which my post title came ?

That's frightening. But if you look reeeeeeeelly hard you'll find Ghosts and Adolescent sex. But that's all. NOT ENOUGH JAPAN ON DEEZER WE SAY!!! Btw do treat yourself to the Nine Horses album he just did - it's brilliant. and if you listen carefully to the Porcupine tree stuff on deezer - you'll hear Richard Barbieri on keyboards. Fancy.

Really enjoyed your list, apart from Rufus, who I just can't get along with! That Felt track is great.

Well-spotted FP, tho' I can't get Ghosts to play, Adolescent Sex sounded very vibrant just now.

Sorry tracyk, I think Rufus' voice is a 'love it or loathe it' matter - far inferior to his sister's, I still love it. A friend, to whom I gave mp3s of all his albums for his iPod, had to delete them all, so strong was the revulsion.

Glad the list found favour in the main...

On the Rufus front - I am in the "very much for" camp (no pun intended. Well, lots of puns actually) Not least because I've see, him interviewed on telly and he is such a fekkin' nice bloke. I've seen him describe his family as being "like the fucking Von Trapps" which is extremely witty and self-depreciating. He also speaks perfect French. TracyK - deezer his album 'Release the stars' produced by our very own Neil Tennant. If you come away not liking the song "sanssouci" then you are firmly in the 'against' category and proud of it. No prob. Just give him "one more chance"...
