Someone, somewhere recently said they want some sax on the 'Spill. Careful what you wish for:
Sons of Sons
Get
Water Grows Teeth
Ludwig Van Ramone
Con Safo
Try Box Out Of This Box
Love Is A Ghost
How How?
Mary, Won't You Call My Name?
The Thin Air

Shoey: I was working on one of these but from a quite different perspective, it can wait.
Could you identify who's playing what/ Merci.

Go for it GF! Erm, not sure too many of these will be to your taste, but we have: Clock DVA, Blurt, The Box, Acoustic Ladyland, Mars Volta, Theatre of Hate, Morphine, Magazine.

oooh, saxy! Too much is never enough.

I was going to do a saxy 'Spill post too! I'm glad you did, instead, Shoegazer, because I can't remember what I was going to put in it.

When I saw Shoegazer/sax, from my iPhone at work, I hoped/suspected morphine would be on the list.

I was thinking it would be nice to make this collaborative, somehow. Last week with the falsetto songs made me think it might be nice to do a collaborative, no-pressure type list from time-to-time of subjects that'll never appear on RR. But you don't spotify, do you Shoey? And I don't think goneforeign does either. I suppose we could dropbox. Or we could all just yell out the names of songs we like. I dunno, maybe there's already too much of this damn sharing of music we like, overloading our brains...

Oh, and I meant to say I just got home from work but I'm very very much looking forward to listening to this. But it'll probably be tomorrow.

Following up steen's idea, I've created a 'Saxy Numbers' box, into which I've dropped a frenetic David Murray version of a GD song (thanks, May, for that) and a quirky bit of Shrimp Boat.
I'll give your tracks a more comprehensive listen later, Shoey.

I've listened to them all the way through now and my fave is Ludwig Van Ramone. Who's the artist? Cheers, Shoey.

That's Acoustic Ladyland, proably the closest to actual Jazz - thanks for wading through the rest of the post-punk quirkiness.

Nice list, shoey. I liked the last two best, because they made the most sense to my ears.

This would have been on my list. That's a saxophone, right?
